Scar, I enjoyed the "Lighter Shade of Pale" video! I have several versions of that (Kind of like Willie Nelson's version Embarrassed ). I'll download all I can find from iTunes and enjoy all of them. I was in San Francisco during that "summer of love" and while I was by then a working guy putting in long hours and not smoking dope in the Panhandle, I did like the music I had time to absorb. "Lighter Shade of Pale" was an anthem, of sorts, and it stirs fond memories.

Here, I've put up a Moody Blues cut I've enjoyed over the years. I sometimes think of Moody Blues as Pink Floyd lite.

I like this thread. But, waste far too much time here. I think I'll start posting comments (not negative!) and hope we get some good conversation in addition to the music. I'd kind of like folks to add some text (if they choose) as to why the specific video was special enough to post. Or not.

That video will not work for me. I wish it would as I really enjoy Moody Blues. The first time I took notice of "Lighter Shade of Pale" was in a movie titled "The Tenth Kingdom" with John Larroquette. Quite a beatiful piece of music.

I bought the single in 1967. Saw them several times. Always great. Robin Trower came from Procol Harum.
