I thought season 1 of True Detective was unusual, interesting, and I followed it.
Season 2...not so much. I only watched the 1st episode however. I have the rest recorded on the DVR. May watch them, haven't decided.
You?
I like the show this season also. Maybe not as much. I think Vince Vaughn is amazing at playing his part.
I've thought Vince Vaughn has been "underrated". Or, maybe he just does not choose good parts a lot of the time. He did a thing some years ago titled "Clay Pigeons" that I thought was brilliant. He played one of the spookiest characters ever, and played him "funny". I hope he does well in this TV thing and gets good reviews.
His role in True Detective is indeed spooky and intense.
That seals it. I have several on the DVR and will have a marathon session and catch up.
Back to music: I watched the Baseball All Star game...a guy named Josh Turner sang "God Bless America" and I really liked his C&W voice. I'm going to check him out.

EDIT: Didn't listen carefully: It's a religious thing. Whatever, liked his voice. But, won't be buying his stuff to hear him preach about salvation.
Yes he has a great voice.. reminds me of this guy....
