OH OK, I didn't think you were so close to the ocean.

80 miles. lol

Where do you live? Heck I think Medford is also about 80 miles from the ocean.

Beaverville.

Are you close to Uwajimaya | Store - Beaverton ?
My ex SIL lived at Tanesbourne on 185th. Every vacation we spent up there allowed me to go wander. Live fish!

Not really, but closer than you.  Smiling

If you are not looking for Japanese items particularly, this Chinese store beats all the other markets in the metro. Much cheaper than the others also. I bought a lb of jumbo sea scallops yesterday for $12.99!

I know we get these days (and nights) of high temps, but it REALLY sucks when doesn't cool off much when the sun goes down. Why is it still 90 at 10:20?

My particular part of the valley gets a 15+ mph wind pretty much every night as the sun sets which normally cools things down a lot, but not last night or tonight.  Crying We're also getting quite a bit of smoke from Vancouver Canada blowing down as well....

I'm trying to get some wood cut for the firepit, but I not interested in doing it when it's already 80 degrees at 7 am.  Twitch

The temperature at my house at 5pm last night was 107°. When I woke up at 5 this morning it was 65°. Thank goodness for a/c... I'm thinking homes without it probably never did cool off much last night.[Image: 4d3ff0205773d137470b7c64492dba18.jpg]

I thought today was supposed to be warmer than yesterday... but going by my weather app it's looking like it will be a tad bit cooler.
And... We're almost to 70° now.[Image: a874ba254a278fb4fd3f855e32a84f3c.jpg]

We keep our A/C set at 78. I always turn it off at night when I go to bed, last night that was 10:30pm. on a normal night the house will cool down to somewhere around 73 by morning. This morning at 5:30am the house was 79. Yuck.

It was 80 when I went to bed at midnight so I didn't open the house. I was up at 4:30 this morning and it was 74 and smoky so I didn't bother to open them.

Forecasters say the winds will shift sometime Friday so at least we won't have to deal with the smoke.

Nah it's pretty much brand new, a Honda. Not exactly quiet but my neighbors are not very close.

BTW I went through four maybe five electric pressure washers from Lowe's in less than two years. So it pays to get the extended warranty for the type I had.I don't remember the brand.. It was green.

Also are you cutting branches? Because It's really faster to chop them up in pieces with a miter saw. IMO even faster and easier than a chain saw.
