How does it feel to be so obsessed with this woman? Or more importantly why do you think the obsession persists? Strange. Must be the "news" sites you read or the "talk" radio that is poisoning your mind. Sad....

Probably about like you feel being so obsessed and deranged with the Trump. So how does it feel? What poisoned your mind? Your alt left news sites?

The New York Times. CNN, MSNBC, etc....  They are all Marxist Agenda driven companies.

And that was then, this is now.

Mr. Trump is our president. He is not the first person to be elected with fewer popular votes than the opponent. Our system is ruled by electoral votes and Mrs. Clinton accepted the outcome and congratulated Mr. Trump on his victory.

Yet, we continue with these goofy exchanges.

Better, that we pay attention to the actions of this president and the people he has chosen to advice and guide him. And, to be aware of what this Republican congress will do to enact  legislation that will effect our lives.

The House is proposing "Obamacare Light", the Senate may not pass it, and other government agencies (i.e. the EPA) are being overhauled in ways that will change them for a very long time.

We might want to direct our attention to what is happening, rather than the old news of those things that no longer make any real difference.

It's simple: Just follow the tweets.  Wink

The question wasn't who, but what. Answering with who is just name calling and meaningless. I would like to know the definition of alt-left.

Try to keep up with the conversation.

I was asked for a definition.

Alt/Left = Marxist/Alinsky followers was my answer.

So brainiac, let's see your definition of ALT/LEFT?

Marxist/Alinsky followers.

Ok, thanks. I guess you mean far left/communistic/socialistic? But isn't that what all left/liberals are accused of being? Or are you acknowledging a distinction in left political groups between center left and far left in the Democratic Party/Liberal umbrella?

The Alinsky reference I don't understand since both alt-left (your term) and alt-right (their term) have seemingly embraced his methods equally enthusiastically.

Still trying to figure this out as I haven't heard of anyone claiming the term alt-left to themselves.

There is no such thing, so I suppose it's whatever your Breitbart typy sites tell you it is.

Yeah, I got that.
My problem (I admit it's personal and I can't defend it well) is that it's just another label that only muddies the waters even more.

Liberal and Conservative now have about a million different little groups, all protecting little bits of dogma and rejecting anything that doesn't fit the mold they have cast.

I'm Liberal. I also have a lot of "Conservative" views about personal responsibility, concerns about the bloating of government at all levels, I support taxes to provide for a strong national defense, I think most cops are doing a good job, I think gun ownership is a right, and I don't support abortion past the first trimester and don't think abortion should be a form of birth control.

I also support the ACLU, Common Cause, many Democratic politicians, the right to be private in my bedroom, public education, some "safety net" programs for those truly in need, progressive income tax, some health care as a right for all citizens, and am against almost all censorship.

I don't think I'm ALT anything. And I fear that the ALT mentality is a major problem in the divisions of this county that will tear apart the good that has made us the envy of most of the world.

In short, I LIKE IKE!

OK, I've been checking into this alt-left thing and i think I've got a handle on it. I must conclude there isn't any alt-left, at least not yet.

It depends on who you listen to as to just who are the alt-left. Various articles point to everything from a far far left, to what has been known as anarchists, to moderate lefties (really?), to "the left wing of the alt-right" which as far as I can tell are the alt-right who favor Milo (look him up yourself). The altleft website bills themselves as the last of those and are the only ones claiming the label for themselves. So, lacking any consensus on just who they might be I have to conclude that so far the term is just being bandied about as a pejorative by any group against any other group they don't like.

For now it's just meant as an insult.

Cracks me up. You accept the "alt-right" bullshit you are fed while denying the "alt-left" even exists.

It really must stink to have your head that far up your ass.
