There may be a time when "resistance" will be necessary. We hope not, and only when our president acts outside the privileges and laws of his office. 
It could happen.
If it does, I hope that all good citizens will find a way to resist.

Exactly how I, and many others have felt for 8 years.  Get it?

Nope. don't get it.
You can't compare these two men in way they present their personalities, intellect, knowledge and responsiblity to standard socical conventions. My Trump, so far, has been an internatonal embarrassment. We can only hope that once in the oval office he will have an "awakening" of some kind and stop his sophomoric, simplistic Tweeting and consider the tremendous importance of complete and detailed policy postions.

And Obama virtually endorsed and pushed for a race war the way he divided the country.  Obama virtually opened the borders (in hopes of new VOTERS, NOT for the good of the country) and ignored any laws and even congress with "phone and his pen".  Obama was openly hostile to middle American gun owners and "bible thumpers" who simply believe stronger than he does in the first and second amendment.  Let's get back to YOUR words:

That is EXACTLY how a great deal (apparently half) of us felt about the last 8 years.

The level of "resistance" I read into your post was not reached under Obama.  So no, I did NOT resist.  As I doubt you will for the next 8 years either...
