He certainly didn't write that.

 He certainly did.

Just because it was posted on his account it doesn't mean that he wrote it.  Most likely a writer wrote it for him.  You can look at his Twitter account to see the difference in something he actually writes and what was posted there.

I see your point. But just because it was posted on his Twitter account ALSO doesn't mean he didn't write it.

So how can one say he "certainly didn't write that" ?

I bet if it was one of the stupid things he often says no one here would be arguing that maybe he didn't write it LOL

Trump would have said something more along the line:

Today, a really really bad guy died. He did a lot of really really bad things to those Mexicans in Cuba.

They all use writers, even obozo has a team of writers. Because trump talks like a New Yorker doesn't mean he isn't intelligent anymore than it means obozo is some sort of genius because he can read well from all the teleprompters set up around him.

It probably would take a scientist to understand all the complexities, but my guess is that the election of Trump means that America has ceased to exist and Fidel Castro is now free to die. Or something like that.
Makes sense!

Only a communist would think that America is now destroyed. That's what's funny about this.

What a great leader and man, he did so much for his people. Nice he left behind about a $900,000,000.00 estate for his family. He was a real man for the people. Does Cuba have a death tax?

I bet I could say just about the same thing, about the American government, during the same time period.

Well, you could say it but it wouldn't be true.
Sure, we have locked up folks for using pot, put gays in jail, arrested people for demonstrating (usually rioting) and other over-reaching goverment actions.

But to suggest we have done the kind of things the Castro Brothers have done is pure nonsense.

PS: And to suggest Castro was "Loved by the Left" is to include a huge crowd into that group. "The Left" is no more a monolithic group than the Right is ALL nut jobs. ("I'm Liberal and have no love the the Castro Brothers)

Throw in Ohio State, Wacko, and the Iraqis, Afghanistanions, and a dozen other covert wars victims, we killed. Well sure Castro kept most of his killing domestically and we spread it around the world.

So true.
And so very different.
Our democractic government has made a LOT of mistakes. Our adventures in the Middle East is a good example. Our police have other government agencies have been guilty too of dispicable acts against our own citizens.
The difference is our sins get exposed. Not always corrected, because we do have political differences, but almost always exposed and discussed. We enjoy the blessings of "The Rule of Law" even if not always perfect.

Not in Cuba. When a country is controlled by a very few, and the people have no voice in selecting those who administer the various functions of that government, the result is always tyranny. So it is, so has it always been.

Even with recent "liberalizations" you would not enjoy being a Cuban citizen.

I don't give crap about Fidel Castro. I am happy that Alaska Airlines now has direct flights from LA to Havana. It won't be long till I get down there, assuming things continue to improve between the US and Cuba.

Maybe stay a few nights at the gitmo inn and have a few cocktails with mohamed and the boys, might be nice there this time of year.
