Ain't that the truth. But it seems to be very individual by taste. I like it a bit watery, with some raisins and walnuts.
My wife prefers steel cut, thick like wallpaper paste, and craisins.
My grandfather liked it cooked very thick, cooled, then fried, and topped with maple syrup. He lived to be 35.
