Yeah, well I am not responsible for that movie and I do not recommend it. So I hope this gets me off the hook for even mentioning it.

The DH is fixing a chicken curry, a vegetable curry and some kind of basmati rice. My contribution will be dessert. Gonna have sherbet ice cream with sliced kiwi (if we can find kiwi). Lotsa wine, too.

My favorite meal is a chicken or lamb curry with basmati rice.![]()
I brought back lots kiwis and oranges from California a couple weeks ago. My wife took many of them to work to give away to co workers. I picked most of the oranges myself. The kiwis I bought 10 for a dollar. That is one thing I do like about California.

I love a good curry, too bad a good curry can be hard to find-- actually, I think I just love things with coconut, coconut milk or even coconut cream in them

In most cases bumper stickers are like Tattoos, why deface the looks of your vehicle. My only bumper sticker is my AAA Towing one. But do admit to reading what others have.

Dinner last night was quite nice. The curry was okay (I'm not a big fan) but I like it with a chutney. DH prepared a raita which was pretty good. Dessert was two kinds of sherbet ice cream; cocoanut with fruit pieces and tarot root. Yes, tarot root. It was purple and not too bad. It looked pretty in the bowl with sliced kiwis and a Digestive chocolate biscuit.
I hate when the clocks change.

Hey, back up! Or not.
The man has forgotten more than we will ever know. Well educated, well read, well traveled, a man apart, a mind that speeds past all the dogma and stale traditions of common sense. I not only admire him, I learn from him. I don't want to be him, or be like him. But, to call him a walking ulcer is to "protest too much, my lady".
My opinion, but shared, if only by some.
Your opinion was not well fleshed, so I must guess. I won't.

Wonk, I agree that Christopher Hitchens' logic and critical thinking skills are enviable. I personally like his writing style. I have read plenty of his articles in Free Inquiry Magazine and they are always good. However, I do not agree with some of his politics and he can come off a bit arrogant. Two other books that I recommend are The End of Faith by Sam Harris and The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins. They are two of my favourite books. I like them more than Christopher Hitchens' books. I think you would enjoy them.
