Yes KBB is nothing more than a guide but usually it's fairly close. I was probably giving the guy the benefit of the doubt when I put the info in to KKB for a price.
I have a very good idea what most things are worth because this is what I do.
As far as an ass for every seat.. Not really. There are ads on CL for overpriced items that have been on there so long it's amazing. Some People are just stubborn stupid.
