It good to pick a place we could actually win.

Twice again, without any war being declared, we arbitrarily decided it's OK for us to violently invade somebody else's sovereign territory. The big bully.

I guess it's OK, if it's to nap a criminal.
I wish somebody would nap war criminals hiding in this country.

Bet Obama is pissed his Somalia raid wasn't as successful as Clintons raid on Somalia.

They didn't invade, they assisted the host country in a antiterrorist operation.

Clinton's raid was successful? Gee, four days after the infamous " Blackhawk Down" incident, Clinton pulled out all American troops.

Sarcasm, I had some acquaintances that ended up there for a bit. You know how those un peace keeping missions go. One killed his first child rebel fighter there.

Looks like the Somalia raid was another ill planned mission that nearly ended like Clintons. At least this time they had backup.

Not sure I follow your "ill plan" statement. The attack was carried out on the target area, they couldn't confirm the specific target was eliminated because of hostile fire, and were ordered to withdraw.

Your video is nothing new than what was posted above in the original post hyperlink which led you to same video.

Intel sources are trying to learn if the target was eliminated since a physical ID was impossible.

Obama, in his haste or ignorance, probably pushed for this raid to try and take heat off of him and his current failures with congress. Sometimes things come to us before others.Wink

Well at least the SEAL commander didn't call in an airstrike on the villa. If he had, the court of world opinion would have crucified him.

RE: U.S. forces strike in Libya, Somalia - PonderThis - 10-08-2013

Let's hear it for the court of world opinion then. Smiling
