RE: Music - Willie Krash - 10-25-2011 One more Bourbon, with Daune Allman and good stuff. Loan me a dime from one of my picks as best top ten albums of all time. My music library goes back to the 1890's so go figure. (in original format) RE: Music - Willie Krash - 10-25-2011 Never let a good thread go to waste, Sweet Surrender. Greetings from LA. This album went out of print almost as soon as it was released. Songs include Get on top (of me woman), Move with me. Sweet Surrender is one of the most under rated songs of the early 70's. Dead young, drugs. Now on cd. The liner note on the front cover. STAMP OUT SMOG! Millions of people driving millions of cars plus temperature inversion provides Los Angeles with a near perfect environment for the production and containment of photochemical smog. Auto emissions are 80% to 90% responsible for smog. Sunlight instigates a chemical reaction between nitrogen dioxide, a major component of automobile exhaust, and hydrocarbons, a product of evaporated gasoline. Temperature inversion exists when there is a layer of warm air at higher altitude – around 1500 ft. – instead of cooler air. The LA basin inversion acts as a giant lid over the smog, inhabitants and visitors. Now you wanna know the reason Why I cheated on you? Well I had to be a hunter again. This little man had to try To make love feel new again. But now you're gonna go out And get yourself A reputation. But I'm gonna have to show you Where to start. And then you're gonna bring back Your little reputation And prove to me What I could not prove to you. RE: Music - Scrapper - 10-25-2011 How about some misheard lyrics? RE: Music - Scrapper - 10-25-2011 Ha Ha! Okay... one more misheard lyrics... So beautiful...I was singing with it, thanks for the lyrics! RE: Music - Crone - 10-26-2011 We n' de ya ho, We n' de ya ho, We n' de ya, We n' de ya Ho ho ho ho, He ya ho, He ya ho, Ya ya ya Translation - We n' de ya ho Freely translated: "A we n'" (I am), "de" (of), "Yauh" --the-- (Great Spirit), "Ho" (it is so). Written as: A we n' de Yauh ho (I am of the Great Spirit, Ho!). This language stems from very ancient Cherokee RE: Music - BeerMe - 10-27-2011 I love my 80's angst music... Damn those are good songs! RE: Music - Willie Krash - 10-27-2011 Thanks Beer me, how about some very hard rock from the 60's with the fabulous incomparable Lada Edmunds in a cage. No one before or since can touch her. A relative unknown she is the best.... The Sonics, psycho a go go.... RE: Music - Willie Krash - 10-27-2011 Who could listen to Hotel California yet again, give it a try. Espanol! RE: Music - Larry - 10-29-2011 So, here's the deal. Alice Cooper has a new album out, and it is one of his best. The purpose of this post however, has to do with just ONE song. The opening song on this new CD is called "I Am Made Of You", and it should be being played on CHRISTIAN Rock stations nation wide. Coop has written on of the best tributes to God I have ever heard. Quote:Here I am now. RE: Music - Tiamat - 10-29-2011 Thinking there's never been another Janis Joplin. RE: Music - Tiamat - 10-29-2011 (10-29-2011, 04:50 PM)Larry Wrote: So, here's the deal.
