RE: Music - Juniper - 06-27-2019 I don't know how important good voices are when it comes to rock and roll. Sometimes, in my opinion really good voices don't help as much. Nick Cave has a great baritone, but I don't like listening to him sing. And even Roy Orbison and at times Elvis, who both had 'good voices' kind of bug me. Sometimes those 'bad' or less likely voices are a good thing to be hearing. All those we mentioned, like Reed, Dylan, Young, ...was Kobain even a decent singer? Mark Knofler doesn't really have a great voice but it works great with his music, same with Stevie Wonder. I kind of like imperfect singing voices. I also like Gabriel, and Sting's voices.
