Season 3 of "The Fall" with Gillian Anderson is on Netflix now. I think I'll finish the Netflix original "Glitch" first as it's been pretty good.

As Monthy Python might have said, "And now for something completely different".

BROKEN MIRROR. Episode one, Season 1, is disgusting, but provocative and food for thought. Some better than others, but the good ones are fun and held my interest. As a sample, one might start by viewing episode 1, Season 3 to get a feel of this very different series.

My ROKU was delivered today!  Yay! Thumbs Up  BTW, I was surprised that USPS will deliver on Sundays... I found that they have contracts with certain large companies (like Amazon) and they do deliver on Sundays!  Now... to get it hooked up and running.   Confused   The first step in my quest to TRY to step away from paying Comcast $200+/mo.  The big issue will be the PAC-12 channel.  We love our PAC-12 sports.  I've been (mostly) happy with our Comcast services... it's the $$ that's the real pissah.

Not streaming though.  I might watch that, but I just turned off my delivery.  I think we might all do well to list whether our recommendation is streaming or not. Smiling

Roku won't (afaik) get you off the Comcast teat because it requires you to verify you have an account to view the good channels. You CAN reduce the number of DVR boxes but I don't know how much savings that is. Well, come to think of it, you should be able to watch whatever you can get online. Can you get Pac-12 online?

Anywho, I just have the cheapo Roku Stick, so the better models may be different.

It's streaming on Netflix. Now.

My wife likes that show. To be honest I find it crude and purposely "shameless" . It juts sort of grosses me out.

I thought I was the only one who paid that much for TV LOL  . This coming March is the end of our contract with Direct TV.
I'm not sure what I'm going to get but it will be less than the 150 we pay for direct TV.. I hope. I will always have Charter( $52 per month) for my internet so I might see what kind of deal I can get with them.

Well, now I'm thinking my Charter isn't so high.... the $160 includes the internet.

So what I pay isn't as outlandish as I think? I have four TV's and four different direct TV boxes with all the premium channels.

Yeah, Charter keeps offering us package with a phone. Why in the heck do I need another phone?

I'm not sure with Charter....I do rent the box for 2.  I think you don't have to rent the boxes with a newer TV. ?

I don't know but with direct TV you do need a box for each one.

I'm fairly sure....fairly that if you have a newer model TV  you don't need one for Charter.
