Anyone watching Spotless? Franco - British television series set in London. I like it, give it a look.

Did someone here recommend this movie on Netflix? If not, I do.  Big Grin

This is one of my favorite movies. Javier Bardem delivers some of the best lines in this movie. I recommend it as well.

He was an excellent bad guy wasn't he? I didn't care for the ending, at least late last night while I was struggling to stay awake. I think I'll watch the last 10 or 15 min again and see if that opinion holds.

The Coen Brothers do that. My own feeling is that I watch the ending of "No Country..." as a kind of poetry. One takes from it what one sees maybe.
For real Coen Brothers poetry, have a look at "Barton Fink". Now THAT, for me, was way beyond poetry I can understand.
I hope to NEVER meet a character like that played by Javier Bardem!

You know a movie is good when you never during the film think about the repairs you have to make to the roof.

On the second season of 'Shameless'. Has not ceased to amaze, shock, surprise, sadden... and has even made me LOL. I'm totally hooked.

Proving, once again, that we all have differnt tastes. I watched a couple eposides and I felt the show contains a lot of shame. I kept thinking they were aiming for satire or irony, but don't think so.
I'm sure I'm in the minority. It must do well or they would not renew it.

Glad you enjoy it. We all get to pick the things that please us.

Are they all that old on Netfilx? Great movie but it's been out so long that when I saw it the title was no country for young men.

Watched the first episode of Goliath last night with Billy Bob Thornton, first episode was really good, the show has potential. It's an Amazon original, you will need Amazon prime to watch it for free.

Two things it's not easy to find 5 star movies on Netflix and not easy to find two hours of uninterrupted adult  type   movie time .

I used to love Netflix but I guess the competition took them out. They don't have nearly as much on streaming as they used to. Even some DVD movies are non existent!  They used to have everything.  I don't really watch Netflix much anymore. I'm not going to spend more on other streaming channels though.

How preachy.  Well, IMO

Actually I don't watch Shameless either. I did for at least two seasons but it does make a person uncomfortable.  It IS called  Shameless.  It is based on British Shameless, but it really doesn't resemble it. The British version is very cute and kind of silly. Not nitty gritty and shocking and embarrassing like this one. Anyway, it was was a bit too boundary pushing for me and sad.  There are plot hooks that can pull you in and I think that's why I stayed with it, but I'm done now.  Walking Dead kind of did that too me also.
