I think the fusion part is just a trade name. MMA means mixed martial arts. MMA fighters today learn many forms of martial arts fighting.
But what I wondered was what in the hell was Wonky trying to say? Big Grin  I'm pretty sure he knows what MMA fighting is.

Yeah, and per usual I mistyped my post...I meant "What? I didn't have anything else to do.

And I have no idea what contemporary fusion is either. I'm not sure I want to know: Might make my brain hurt.
(I do TOO have a brain. Tiny and used, but still...)

I never heard of it. I know you know "some one" Winkwho is in martial arts so I thought you knew something I didn't.
But yeah "fusion" is a brand.

That still doesn't make any sense to me LOL. I mentioned a TV show series called "Kingdom" and that unless you like MMA fighting you may not like it.
But Rotten Tomatoes says 93 out of 100 liked it so maybe you don't have to be an MMA fan.

Shit on a stick!
Of course I know what MMA is. I'm not crazy about but I've watched it.
I already said I posted to it simply because I didn't have anything else to do.
That's my life, okay? I either post something here or pull my brain out through my nose and play with it. Tired of that and sometimes it makes my nose bleed.
Hells bells: I'd play with myself for something to do but those day are pretty much over.  Embarrassed
So you caught me (again) posting nonsense. It's what I do, you know that!

RE: Watched on Netflix (or other streaming channels) - Wonky3 - 08-13-2017

Stumbled onto "Ozark" on Netflix streaming.
Jason Bateman and Laura Linney: Figured it could not be too bad...I'm a Laura Linney fan and I've enjoyed Bateman in several things (Arrested Development, The Gift).

Not great, but it kept me from thinking about Mr. Trump, pandemics, N.Korea, and spumoni ice cream.

Part of the pleasure of this is the setting. Even a bit of history about the Tennessee Valley Authority. Maybe a bit far-fetched, but with a tablespoon of honey it goes down okay.

I'd give it a thumb and a half up, 4.5 stars and a Rotten Tomato score of 87.

The last episode of Game of Thrones was the best one ever as far as I'm concerned. And I'm talking about the battle and the special affects. Big Grin

Good show, good cast. I'm watching on Amazon but PBS should have it.

Sorry to tease you with this, but it's very good.  Big Grin Sooooo many classic scenes.

This is from the movie "Page Eight". I liked it a lot. Seems they are going to continue it for two more "episodes."

And Aside: I really enjoy Bill Nighy's work. One of his best lines, I think, was from the "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel".
He was leaving the lobby of the hotel with a young women, where he lived, and it was obvious sex was going to be involved. As they were leaving, one of his friends said, "Don't you think at your age that might be dangerous?"
And he replied:
"If she dies, she dies".  Laughing

Another of his "little movies" I enjoyed a lot was "The Girl in the Cafe".
And of course his over-the-top character in "Love Actually" is a classic.

Thanks for those suggestions, I'm not familiar with any of his work. I'll check and see if I have those movies available.

I had seen "Page Eight" as a movie.
I fired up Amazon Prime, did a search for "Worricker" and it brought up Series one. I fired it up and it looked like the beginning of "Page Eight" so I closed it intending to watch it another time and skip ahead.
So, later brought it up and it went to "Salting The Battlefield". AND...there is no way (that I could find) on Prime to get back to the 1st series. Have no idea why it jumped...I did not request any new episodes.
Whatever: Looked a lot like the movie.
If you know how to go from, say, episode 4 back to episode 1 on ANY Prime series, please let me know. On Netflix, it's easy peasy.

PS: "Love Actually" is on Netflix. "Girl in the Cafe is not on either Netflix or Prime. And "Love Actually" is NOT to be watched with small children in the room.  Embarrassed
