44 in NY under mandatory quarantine. Makes me wonder, Those folks still in denial or comparing it to the flu, at what point do they remove head from sand? It was only a week ago I heard regularly, there would never be quarantines in the USA. Also the majority dismiss it as no worse than the flu and even more think its some sort of hoax (Rush Limbaugh and his minions for example) at the rate this mofo is doubling, coming soon to town near you.....

Not the individual, he could give a rats ass about tracking.
The question got me thinking about the testing we do now for other flu viruses. Does it change the treatment, if they know what strain you have?
If not, then it only for the benefit of scientist and the patient shouldn't be charged for it.

I've never been to a doctor for a flu. I can barely remember having a flu. I think I had one 30 years ago or so. I don't  get colds either.

I don't think they test you for the flu at all normally.

I don't think your around kids much or people with kids. (Or maybe your memory is going)
I get a mild case of some illness or another from time to time. More of an annoyance then an issue.
might be sniffles , maybe aches, sometimes dry cough, lung hacks, gut issues, fevers or even a combination  of symptoms, (or those dreaded nose worms)
I always feel worse in the morning after laying down and better when up and moving around. So I miss a day off work, here and there, mostly for others. I'm sick but I up and about.  Knowing that if I rest and sleep, I might not wake up.
I also "barely remember having a flu." , because I tend to forget these things.
Then I think back to the time I worked with someone with a kid. The kid got sick, he would get sick, then I got sick.
Laughing
OK Like you I have had times when a mild case of some illness or another from time to time. More of an annoyance then an issue.
I don't consider that the flu. As far as my memory I just asked my wife seconds ago if she EVER remembers me having the flu. She said no . So it's not my memory.
Other than getting cancer the only time I have EVER been to a doctor(urgent care) was when I thought I broke my hand. I didn't. And I had some weird blockage of my carotid gland and that went away by itself.
When I got cancer 5 years ago was the first time I ever had a primary physician. I saw him one time and I haven't seen him since LOL
ya, I probably have cancer too, but don't know it yet. Also diabetes and other stuff.
I keep telling myself, I should at least go to a doctor once before I die.
I was going to go for a physical when I turned 60, but my doctor died. I haven't looked for another yet.
You totally should get a colostomy.

I saw this before and my thought was who in the hell actually touches the food samples and then doesn't eat them?

Don't forget the president of the fucking united states who is downplaying the severity. Do you know what else this Jackass is saying at his rallies ?

That this virus is why we need to bring manufacturing back to the USA.. OMG the dimwit never stops amazing me how fucking STUPID he actually is.

Pretty sure you meant colonoscopy, unless you really want him to start pooping in a bag attached to his leg. Razz

And none of those things led to quarantines in the USA, today we have them. But denial memes are fun.

LOL yeah I chose the wrong word that spell check offered.
But men who are 60 and don't get a colonoscopy may indeed end pooping in a bag attached to their leg. I almost did.

Well, technically, other than 1999 Y2K, nothing 20th century is on the list.

In reality, the number of US cases now stands at 231 in 22 states. This grew by almost 70 cases on Thursday and 35 on Wednesday according to figures from the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), state and local health agencies, and hospitals, collated by The New York Times.
