RE: Youtube - Juniper - 01-13-2022 Neil is NOT a good filmmaker. He's an odd duck. He's very environmentalist. He has interesting side projects like Linc volt https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LincVolt and Pono,https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pono_(digital_music_service) He just does things because he can, not because he's some kind of visionary innovator. I like some of his videos because they are amusing. Like Wonderin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0PlwVPbM5k'. He did some innovative adaptive things for his son Ben who is fully involved cerebral palsied, non-verbal individual. I have some issues with Neil but I don't have to like him to like his music though. The Rust never sleeps concert is bizarre, but the music is good. It was kind of weird, and isn't overtly environmentalist, but Neil likes to refer to it as having an environmentalist theme. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0379307/(01-11-2022, 10:59 PM)Juniper Wrote: Greendale is his environmentalist manifesto. He's still kind of like that.Yep , good for him but I think he was over the top of native American issues. Seems like something you might find interesting, with your kind of mind. |
