Anyway who wants to play what the Hell is that? the first weiner who guess right gets a free 6 in" tomato stake and some cross pollinated no name weird gourd like things.

Possibly Salsify. It is in the dandelion sub-family. If I'm right I want that stake.

No , that's not it. It's nothing that rare. Oh and all of the other guess are wrong too. Keep trying all you gardeners out there.
I might have to cheat and break out the Western Garden Book.

Cucumbers, Lemon Cucumbers, Roma Tomatoes, forget the other tomato plant, Jalapenos, green chile peppers, zucchini, potatoes, onions, and blueberries. I think that covers it.

My new greenhouse paid off. I've had red tomatoes for awhile. These plants were loaded, I've already started giving some away

OK, I'm going with Sow thistle. Seriously, TV, you need to show me a better picture of the flower. Can you do a close up on the flower. And the leaf?

RE: What's in your garden? - csrowan - 07-17-2013

It's in the same family as dandelions, marigolds, and artichokes, I believe.

But that only narrows it down to around 1600 species...
