Which photo? There just weeds, I don't know their names, I think maybe Weedicus maximus allovertheplaceabus is the latin name.

The sprinkler provides contrast for size. The Anaheim and Jalapeno peppers are doing fine too. Smiling

Wow, talk about coincidence!

I know the guy who owns this plot. Older Italian guy who sells to people who don't have the skills to grow their own. He lives in Sam's Valley and is the only guy in the area with that special sprinkler. I would take caution: It is rumored he uses cat manure to get faster growth. I may just give Applegate the address so she can go gonzo on the place with her handy dandy little weed eating machine. Oops...latest word from her DH is it may be winter before she figures out how to put it together. He said she has trouble with can openers. But, that her skill in field dressing game puts Gov. Palin to shame.

The Snake Plants that I posted earlier this year. The odor coming from these flowers is similar to that of a dead animal. My dog got mad at me for making her smell one.

I was almost given some of those for free, but the deal fell through.

Is it BBQ that wants tomatillos? There's an ad on freecycle for someone giving away hundreds of tomatillos starts....paging Bbq.

Re: What's in your garden? - tvguy - 06-20-2009

Wow, my dog treed a coon in my yard and I shot it between the eyes dropping it to the ground. Amazingly it did not die and my rottie and the coon were fighting tooth and nail...literally until after about five minutes I was finally able to get another shot with out shooting my dog.

The bad news is I did notice earlier that my Koi were not as visible as they usually are, I hope that bastard didn't kill too many.

We checked the dog out pretty close, he seems to be fine.

Last year a raccoon got in my pond and ate all of my koi. We still haven't restocked. Hope you have better luck. Crying

Re: What's in your garden? - Tia - 06-21-2009

Isn't it illegal to shoot racoons?

Re: What's in your garden? - tvguy - 06-21-2009

Raccoons can be legally hunted or trapped, they are a often menace and carry disease.
