I don't think they want me there either. Laughing

I thought I told you about the other Forum... back when it was first opened.

I guess so, if you say so . I bet it's as slow as molasses anyway. That's usually the case.

You did. I don't think I cared for the authoritarian power the owner wanted. Smiling

Exactly when did MTF begin (what year?) and who here dates from then?

I had never heard of it... until joining RVF.

Huh? NeutralUnsure How is that advertising another forum? It's dead.

No... I meant that I didn't want to post a link to another Forum on RVF because it was like advertising one Forum over another.

Oh... and the first I heard of MTF was via posts here on RVF.

I don't think Kam minds, when RainyLady started her forum (since closed) it was openly discussed here, and so has Joey's forum in the past. If I cared about it I'd post it, and feel no remorse either. Smiling

Go for it, and be a rebel! Laughing

Anyone had/having problems with prescriptions from Fred Meyer? I went today to P/U a refill and it won't be ready till tomorrow. The electronic voice said today. I'm a little steamed.

I use Rite Aid. Smaller pharmacies don't accept my insurance. Rite Aid is close. Often times the electronic system will give me a time to pick up my prescription and when I arrive it's not ready when they say it will be. Often hours late. Late enough to not bother and come in the next day. Do you ever wonder what's happening back there in the pharmacy that is so time consuming?

RE: Random question - Scrapper - 01-05-2014

We use Kaiser Permanente... sorry, no help here.

RE: Random question - csrowan - 01-06-2014

I use Bi-Mart. Never had a problem. The only issue I have is that one of my meds isn't very common, and sometimes they can't refill it the same day if I call in the morning.

RE: Random question - Scar - 01-06-2014

I get mine from a vetrerinarian.

RE: Random question - csrowan - 01-06-2014

Depending on what you mean by that, yes.

A buddy of mine, Johannes Gutenberg, asked about that some time ago. Well, a long time ago… Embarrassed

I'm pretty sure you know what I mean.
A book bindery. A place where they bind books.

A simple question, I thought.

RE: Random question - PonderThis - 01-06-2014

There used to be a good one right next to the buggywhip store.

Ah. I know a person who does book binding by hand. I know someone else who does book repair. And I know a print shop that used to do perfect-bound books.

But I don't know of any place that currently manufactures perfect-bound or hardcover books locally.

RE: Random question - PonderThis - 01-06-2014

I've always got a kick out of that term "perfect binding", because it's about the most imperfect cheap way to bind a book possible. Smiling

I've read how to do bookbinding by hand, and it looked like a very painstaking and tedious process (and, the results still sort of crude, too).

Yeah it was a simple question. If I were you I would call a library or a book store. There are a lot very valuable books out there that need attention. I don't think it's as rare as some here seem to think to restore a book.

Here are three places you can call, two in Medford and one in GP.
