It takes a special kind of moron to buy into social media rumors hook line and sinker that Antifa is loading up on busses and heading out to rural towns.
I heard this rumor so many times this last week. And by this account that number of buses was increasing. Outsiders did come.  There seemed to be a circuit that was going from town to town, but they weren't Antifa.

There was a group of armed dolts in GP who congregated at the big American flag at Baskin Robbins because according to social media nonsense, antifa was on there way to take it down and burn it. I dont deny them their right to congregate, or be armed, but i mean, really, like big city flag burners were really rolling into town to make a stand at 31 flavors  Laughing

A distraction. I reject the idea that the entire black community demands support for the criminal element in their community.

A distraction? Or could it just be that not everyone agrees and has their own version of the truth? But I bet mostly white people are reposting this. Big Grin

Small-time I know.  But I found them interesting none the less.  The man in Medford pointing a gun at a protester's head made me ill.  There was no reason for the good ol' boys to go into the demonstrations but they did, some under the guise of 'defending their town', but it wasn't always so. All this talk about busloads of Antifa coming was spewed.  Out of towners did come to both, but they weren't Antifa.  The same 10 cars (Usually big trucks) would circle around and around...One would stop next to a crowd demonstraters, stop and then diesel roll them in a big black cloud of smoke.  They flipped them off, shouted at them, stopped next to them and incited them, follow the black, out of town protesters down the street carrying assault rifles while dogging their steps.  The police kept their presence minimal. I did hear some damage was done by demonstrators to a truck but still don't know what happened there, but it was unrelated to the man holding the gun and pointing it straight at a protesters' head.

You saw this on Live feeds so are there still videos? Where were the police when they idiots were actually to trying to incite a riot?
It seems to me like  counter demonstrations at the same place should be illegal.
I would say there are still videos.  I couldn't see the gun incident on the live feed I saw.  But I did see that there was no visible police presence at the Medford one. The only time I saw police presence was at night when at some point a bottle or maybe more than 1 were thrown in response to something, I couldn't see what because the live feeder was standing across the street....then, about 8 police cars came rushing in. The police got out of their cars and stood around for about 5 minutes and then went back into their cars and rolled off.  I am assuming they had an agent or officer in the crowd. But there was nothing done about the coal rolling....I don't know why they would, but it was obviously trying to incite.  The guy following the black people in the crowd was dressed up in typical kind of militia style with a vest with all the pockets and gear and some kind of assault rifle.  The black people confronted him and said he was intimidating them. His answer was that he was just in the march and it was legal to be armed.  But, he could have marched anywhere in the group. He was. stuck on these 3 black people who told him they were feeling intimidated and targeted by him.  They were able to come to an uneasy kind of peace. The demonstrators were clearly not interested in confrontation.  At the fountain, they would give political speeches and ask people to vote in November. Nothing that I heard was incidiary. I'm not saying the demonstrators were perfect angels and didn't do anything...apparently there was a confrontation with a truck, and when they did their little march, they went down the road going against traffic, but I also saw what seemed to behavior designed to incite from the anti demonstrators who looked to just be good ol' local boys.  I will say this..the live feeds were interesting but they couldn't show everything or hear everything that happened.

It seems yo me that the best what to stop violence is to carefully watch exactly who is doing what. IMO a bunch of dick head rednecks dressed up like some kind of soldier are the one I would watch.
Plus I don't see how the cops could possibly miss those assholes rolling coal.

What part of anything she said do you disagree with? Did you listen to all of it?
They made a hero out of Mike Brown which is pretty much her point. She is pretty much saying what I have been saying on this forum for years.
Cops don't kill blacks any more than anyone else. It's a myth. Police brutality is no myth but it's not just blacks on the receiving end of it.

But I bet mostly white people are reposting this. Big Grin

And why? Because the blacks believe the myth. And just like she said many blacks who agree with her would never say so publicly because they would be called Uncle Tom's.
This lady is using facts to make her point.

Want to know something funny? My wife agreed with her until the next day when she found out Candace is a conservative Trump supporter Laughing Laughing

I'm not sure who you were replying to.  I figured she was a Trump supporter...that's why I wasn't entirely with her, but I do believe that the BLM movement is a big exaggerated, and I do feel that personal accountability comes into things and is entirely discounted.

A friend reposted that picture of the man with the child in the batman suit on his shoulders facing a row of police officers who appear to have their (at least one does) have their weapons pointed at the child and father. My response to that was that while it's shocking and disturbing, I feel it was irresponsible parenting to have the child in that position. Suddenly, my usual FB friends, who I normally get along with and agree with, were against me and very angry. Saying my response was like blaming the woman for being raped. It's amazing how very divisive this is. Kind of like the left/right dynamic. It didn't use to be that if your friend was a different view than you that you could no longer be friends.

It was pointed at the father and it was a rubber bullet gun. Why was the man with a child on his shoulders up in the cops face? The cops were guarding store fronts and there were fences to stop people from the store fronts.
The cops were pushed right up to the fence they had no where to go and this IDIOT with  his kid thought it was smart  to pressure the cops?

I'll ask you the same thing I asked my wife. Does that comment make any sense. What does what she says have to do with her choice for a pres?

It was more the way she was going with it, talking about the democarat narrative...that's the usual Trump/far right kind of speak for ANYTHING even vaguely left of what they believe in.  At least in my opinion.

This guy was the F&I Manager at Damerow Ford in Beaverton. He was fired yesterday. His fiance is no longer the Wellness Director at Farmington Square in Salem either.

Disgusting!

I must have said a hundred times you can't compare OUR country to any other and make conclusions.

Not until you find one with Gangs and with a population of blacks who commit nearly half of all murders. Not to mention as many people at the poverty level.

I'll never understand why any white person thinks it's ok to call a black any kind of racial slur just because some blacks call each other the same.
