Good Point Clone. Plus as far as this forum goes, those soldiers who are holding the small children... are OUR children.

And then, there's the dogs.

Lance Corporal Tasker of the British Army deployed to Afghanistan in September 2010 with his bomb-sniffing Springer spaniel named Theo. On March 1, 2011, Tasker and Theo were on patrol when they were caught in a firefight. Tasker was hit by a sniper and died on the scene; Theo was untouched. However, a few hours later after returning to camp, Theo collapsed and also died. Some believe the dog - only 22 months old - died of a broken heart.

"Many people remember a fallen soldier as a person in uniform. Sometimes that soldier is the four legged friend who saved your life by being a bomb-sniffing dog and finding the IED and warns you about it before it explodes. This is a sad but beautiful picture of pure respect for 2 fallen heroes."
