Am I naive? I don't even know what that is.
One of the two having sex is hanging in that thing.
Sounds like something Catherine the Great was into. Year ago when a friend and I were wiring a new home the owner asked us to mount a heavy duty hook in the ceiling directly over the bed.
He supplied the hook and we mounted it and charged for one hour labor. We never asked what it was for.

It was actually a threaded eye bolt. We laid a 2X6 across the top of the ceiling joists to spread the load and then had to screw more lumber to it to get the bolt closer to the ceiling surface.
Or something like that. It's been over 30 years ago. I do remember we made it so if someone was turning in the swing (or whatever LOL) it could not un thread itself.

Good point, it would have to be strong and safe enough to withstand some swing time lovin'

The seller "Marcus Underwood" actually sold this car to me on May the 31st then 2 days later he came to my place of employment in the middle of the night and straight up ripped it off. He belongs on that "dumbest thieves" show I got news for dude, he seriously fucked up things are not always as they appear. The police are involved but that should be the least of his worries, seems we got a few friends in common that know I didn't have this coming so they've been very forthcoming with enough information as to where and when my son and a few of his homeboys can run into him. It does my heart good knowing what he's got coming that goes for his little boyfriend "Jeoffrey" I've included their pictures.
