I actually like some of the old trailers. But, I wouldn't buy one. Most of them had wood frames and I'll bet most of them are half rotted out somewhere.

Well yes if they leaked at one point or another. And if it's totally restored you just wouldn't know if they replaced the bad wood or not.
I just do see the logic in going down in quality just to have the old look. Even if I had a nice air stream I would want modern appliances.

I'm probably less concerned then you are about that. When I go camping I don't expect to have all the conveniences of home. If I did I'd just stay home.

And my experience on trailers and campers is they've all leaked somewhere. You just can't see it until you start tearing it apart. But I don't have a lot of experience with 'em.

This dumb shit has been trying to sell this shitty bald tire for a year. Started around $60, been lowering it $1 every few weeks.
maybe and I do mean maybe, when it hits $10 and someone is really hard up for a crusty used tire/wheel combo that will probably explode when it exceeds 20psi or 30mph then maybe it will sell. You can buy that same tire new at Wally world for $50, or the walmart house brand for $40, so good luck dumb ass.

It's not just the convenience of a new trailer I was talking about. It's about the safety. There's a reason newer travel trailers don't have pilot lights on the furnace  water heater and range.

I'm probably less concerned then you are about that. When I go camping I don't expect to have all the conveniences of home

That all depends of what you call "camping". I've slept in tents on the ground or air mattresses, cooked over a fire or those little Coleman stoves been there and done that a million times LOL.

I think a lot of people especially when they get older and have money just want to get up in the mountains and enjoy the fresh air without all the work it used to be.

Goodyear Tire P195/70R14 Looks Like 95% Or Better On Tread - Stored Spare - Calls ONLY !!!

I've been flagging every post that person makes for years. He is a dealer They have hundreds of items and so many are way overpriced they NEVER sell.
Do a search on "Calls only" and then look at what comes up where the person doesn't capitalize Grants pass.

I finally got so sick of them that now I set me settings to 17 miles from my house so I don't see Grants pass posts anymore.

This is from someone else who is sick of this guy......

"CALLS ONLY" Is a G/P Dealer and is Now Using "Calls Plz and Plz Call" - $1000 (Grants Pass)

FLAG THIS MORON!!!

NOW THE GRANTS PASS SECOND HAND DEALER IS USING ANOTHER PHRASE: "CALL PLZ" AS WELL AS HIS USUAL "CALLS ONLY" TO FLOOD CRAIGSLIST WITH ADS, ALL IN THE BY OWNER CATEGORY.

HE USES MOST OF THE CATEGORIES AND POSTS HUNDREDS OF ADS WEEKLY!

This second hand dealer from Grants Pass is still listing by owner when he is obviously a dealer. He currently has over 250 lots of stuff listed in many different categories and all by owner.
He is now using the phrases "call plz" and "Plz call", as well as his usual "Calls Only".
His phone number is show contact info , flag this number!

This is in violation of all of the C/L rules and clogs up the owner category for the rest of us that don't want to deal with businesses.

It is time to flag all of his lots until he gets with the program!!!

One could call that a useless boat anchor, but that would be doing a great disservice to boat anchors.

You would have to PAY someone $100 to take it.

Yep..  There was one of those on the side of the road out where I live. So of course someone had to smash it with rocks.
Anyway believe it or not inside is a giant plastic magnifying glass. No wonder the picture on those things was shitty even when they were new.
So I brought the plastic magnifier home. When I was a kid I burned ants with a small one. With this thing I can burn cats Razz
It really is fun to play with.

This spoon has been in the family for many years. The image of the gentleman on the handle is of Sequoya, the inventor of the Cherokee Alphabet or Syllabary. He served his people and the United States Military well as the Cherokee Language was used for Code Talking during World War 1. The image on the handle is of him pointing his finger to the scroll he fashioned with the alphabet on it. The spoon is for sell for $60. I have never found another anywhere representing this fellow. Oklahoma is also seen on the handle. There are definite signs of wear but I believe the uniqueness of this sterling silver spoon offsets any blemishes.

I don't know much about precious metals but my first thought was it wasn't silver but silver plated.

It's funny how there are ALWAYS dishes and dish sets. ALWAYS.  But I never see anyone buying them.  But maybe they do sell??  There's a couple of old sets I used to have before it was "cool" or "vintage" that I kind of wish I had now.

Pyrex and other 50s-80s stuff sells now, some at high prices.
My experience is almost nothing pre atomic age sells anymore.

Yeah?  that's kind of interesting. I guess that's how the cycles go.    I had this set back in the 70's or 80's and  .  [Image: fnstb_plax.jpg]

of course, now, I wish I still had it.  Looking at it now, I think it's pretty fab, but back then I think we felt it was atrocious.
