Well yes if they leaked at one point or another. And if it's totally restored you just wouldn't know if they replaced the bad wood or not.
I just do see the logic in going down in quality just to have the old look. Even if I had a nice air stream I would want modern appliances.
I'm probably less concerned then you are about that. When I go camping I don't expect to have all the conveniences of home. If I did I'd just stay home.
And my experience on trailers and campers is they've all leaked somewhere. You just can't see it until you start tearing it apart. But I don't have a lot of experience with 'em.
It's not just the convenience of a new trailer I was talking about. It's about the safety. There's a reason newer travel trailers don't have pilot lights on the furnaceĀ water heater and range.

That all depends of what you call "camping". I've slept in tents on the ground or air mattresses, cooked over a fire or those little Coleman stoves been there and done that a million times LOL.
I think a lot of people especially when they get older and have money just want to get up in the mountains and enjoy the fresh air without all the work it used to be.
