Hi Larry,
I really do want to see this.
Tomorrow afternoon I'm having oral surgery. ("Dead" front tooth has to come out. It will be a week before I get a false one that hooks to a few I got left.)
I don't have a problem with going to the movies with a front tooth missing. You might! But I swear I'll try to keep my mouth shut, and no one with notice.

Any other decent dentist that doesn't work out of a Winnebago would have made you a plastic temporary one.
But on the bright side with your new grill and a couple tats you're a shoe in for a job running a ferris wheel.

You see Wonk? I told you he was worth keeping....

Quote:‘2016: Obama’s America’
is conspiracy-fueled bunk

I just saw the movie “2016:
Obama’s America” and came
away sad for our country that
such racist, conspiracy bunk
could actually be sold as truth.
It was so factually inaccurate
and depended so much on the
personal psychological projections
of its author/director, that
it would have been laughable if
it weren’t succeeding so well in
scaring uninformed viewers.
Most of the footage was
spent reinforcing Barack
Obama’s “otherness” by connecting
him to his father’s
anti-colonialist ideas, which,
by the way, aren’t anti-American.
It blames Obama for the
national debt. It blames
Obama for the 2008 global
financial crisis. It accuses
Obama of sympathizing with
jihadists, ignoring the killing
of Osama bin Laden and the
many drone strikes that have
killed other terrorists.
It accuses Obama of wanting
to return the Falkland
Islands to Argentina in a conspiracy
to reward South American
oil providers, when the
U.S. vote at the Summit of the
Americas actually proved otherwise.
It accuses Obama of
doing nothing to prevent Iran’s
nuclear growth, when he’s
actually set severe trade and
economic sanctions and has
said the United States won’t
tolerate a nuclear-armed Iran.
Even the twice-mentioned
removal of Winston Churchill’s
bust from the Oval Office was
scheduled before Obama took
office, and there’s another one
in the president’s private residence.
The comments by members
of the Fox-watching audience
that I overheard as we left the
theater reminded me how vulnerable
we are to such bigoted
propaganda. As educated voters,
we have an obligation to
inform ourselves from many
different sources so we can
recognize the big lies.

#2 all time political documentary, passing ALL but one of Michael Moore's films.

It seems many don't share that letter to the editor's point of view.

It seems voters don't care for the message of 2016 much either, because Obama keeps going up in the polls rather than down.

Wow bragging up this movie because it wasn't as good as Moore's crappy movies seems like a bit of a stretch when the link explains how it is only half as successful as Moore's best movie:wacko:

And this is in the link also.....

Its success was aided by savvy marketing: exhibitors were reporting busloads arriving at theaters around the country in pre-organized trips. It also employed much of the same selling techniques used to garner attention and support for faith-based films, understandable since the audience is overlapping. Its campaign included advertising nationally on talk radio and cable news channels including Fox News Channel, A&E, History and MSNBC.
