I’m grateful for being here, for being able to think, for being able to see, for being able to taste, for appreciating love – for knowing that it exists in a world so rife with vulgarity, with brutality and violence, and yet love exists. I’m grateful to know that it exists.

Thanks but you know I knew all of that A walk is as good as a hit unless you are competitive like most men and you want a high batting average. And yes I know it helps your on base percentage, mine was always very high which is why I was the lead off batter for years. Getting on base with an error is as good as hit too As a notorious pull hitter I challenged the third baseman a lot and I won that challenge a lot That equals a high on base percentage which is REALLY what counts as opposed to high batting average which gives more bragging rights. Anyway other than you and I most here could care less

Power hitter/ 1st baseman. Helps to be left handed too.

As a lefty I guess the theory was for the first two batters to be on 1st and 2nd and then you hit to right field? I'm no coach but I would have you batting at the 5th spot in case the clean up hitter failed to drive in the guys on base.
