Hey, so, exactly what time is this shindig going down? Because it's like 6.00 PM December 21 in the Chatham Islands (next to New Zealand) and they're just chugging along fine. So, is this like a Mayan time thing?

I'd say you need to wait until all time zones have passed midnight. Just to be on the safe side. Although, I don't know when a Mayan day actually begins. Maybe we should wait until the sun has shone everywhere on Saturday.
