And leftists want us to believe that unemployment checks create milions of jobs, and $1.00 in food stamps turns into $5.00 of revenue. Just ask Hilda Solis and Nancy Pelosi.

A dollar of food stamps (or actual money, too) creates more than a dollar's worth of spending.

First you spend the food stamps or unemployment money. Then, the retailer gets actual money. They pay their employees, purchase more food, buy more bags, what have you. Those employees and suppliers spend that money. It goes around and comes around. That's what drives the economy, with or without food stamps.

Simple, really.

Well, if you want to play that game...how about we factor in how many dollars taken in taxes it takes to create that one dollar in food stamps?

Sounds good. But don't forget that the people making and spending that money are paying taxes on it, too.

The issues are all on the table, in a few posts. It's all very nice. But, we can't pay for it. The cost of administration emptys the coffers. Into the pockets of those, who need it the least. UCAN is just one of the scams that are bleeding this valley. One, of many.
