It's OK to make money, but to have that as the primary motivation, no.
Do we forget how ford motor, goodyear tire and one of the gas companies (I think Chevron) conspired to buy the public transit red line in southern California and run it into the ground, to force people to buy cars, gas and tires.
They were eventually taken to court and lost.
They had to pay a fine of $1.
