Yeah that's a right handed telecaster he's playing upside down. I think he cut part of it off so he could access the frets a little easier high up on the guitar neck
See how the cutaway on this guitar allows the players hand to reach the highest notes.
I'll take your word for it. I tried to learn to play the guitar once. I learned three cords. That's the good news. The bad news is that it took me 3 minutes to change from one cord to the other.
I admire and envy those of you who can play stringed instruments. There must be real joy in MAKING music. I know the joy of listening, but to make music would be a great gift.
