Yeah, I thought about Gladwells theory in this discussion, but on this string, it was slightly off topic. There's a lot of debate about that theory about how accurate it may or may not be in terms of their success. Elements of his theory certainly appear in their story. I haven't read Gladwell, but I think he specifically uses Hamburg as an example. I'd say Hamburg was a crucible that honed their talent.
