Quote:Okay.... I know many of you don't have much faith in Roy Clark but, he is actually a very skilled musician. One hell of a guitar player!

Anyone who can't recognize Roy's talent can't recognize talent anywhere.

Buck was the other host of Hee Haw. That makes Roy shine all the more. By comparison.

Ah ... 1970.

Imagine a kid with ancient headphones practicing his drums to this.

Apologies to my neighbors, so few remaining.

The perfect country and western song.

A "classic" of sorts. No thanks to D.A. Coe.
Written by Steve Goodman. He died too young, by far. Wrote The Dying Cubs Fan Last Request, knowing he his life was going to be short. A great baseball song written by a true baseball fan.

I remember when Goodman was playing those incredible arpeggios for John Prine. The last time I saw Prine, he had had to learn to play those lines himself. And, by God he did.

Eva Cassidy had a beautiful voice and this is an excellent rendition of Over The Rainbow.

Check out Eva singing Danny Boy...and Fields of Gold.

or even....Oh, I had a Golden Thread....or Wade in the Water.

Yes! Eva Cassidy's "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" may be the best ever recorded. Such a pure and exact sound.
