I can't believe you got that so fast!
You picked a beautiful day to visit. Most of the year it's cold, foggy, and windy at Sea Ranch. The chapel is located on the east side of Hwy 1 and gets a tiny bit better weather.......I do miss living on the coast
It was a few years back, but I remember our whole trip was lovely weather. I have the pix to prove it!! We spent 4 days at the Oregon Coast last week and got beautiful blue skies every day, too! Love when that happens. Then show us some more photos. I have a hard time believing you actually had nice weather on the Oregon coast.
I lived in Brookings and Newport each for around a year. The coast is beautiful when the sun is out. I like the coast, but I would not move back. I am used to the warm weather here in the Rogue Valley.
That is a very cool chapel.
That pic I posted on the other thread (from the cave) was last week. We flew our grandson up to visit us and spent three days on the Coast. There was a tiny bit of fog at Heceta, but burned off within 1/2 hour. We got lucky!

Wow I'm impressed with the way each rock fits in to that wall. I have a rock wall and it's no where near as cool as that.Whomever built it must have spent a lot of time finding and choosing just the right stones.

Not that easy. It took me a while to find it. Saint Johns Bridge in Portland.

Yes. I purposely chose a photo with JUST enough of the bridge to identify it. It's a great bridge isn't it?

The key here, TVg, is that the people who built this rock wall were not drunk at the time.
Later edit: Sorry...did not mean to distract from a really fun and interesting thread. Great photo's and the chapel is a marvel!
Carry on, please!

I'd say its quite possible it was built by pacific islanders. (Tongans or Samoans?)

Yes it is one of Portland's more beautiful bridges. I seldom drive across it because I seldom go to North Portland. I am however planning a trip to Portland for next week. Woohoo!

Yeah and they make have been drunk. And the bridge? I was going to say it was a bridge too far. Or the bridge over the river Quai.
