Conspicuous consumption. Now that ordinary people (in First World countries, anyway) live better than royalty used to, the oligarchs need ways to distinguish themselves from the peasants. Like flying first-class, and golf courses with $500 green fees.

But...
•Integrated Washlet features front and rear warm water washing, automatic air dryer and deodorizer
•SanaGloss: Super smooth, ion barrier glazing cleans your toilet bowl with every flush
•Automatic Operation: Lid opens, closes and toilet flushes when sensor is activated.
•Heated seat with temperature control
Plus it marked down from $7,183.00. Damn bargain right there. Just think of all the entertainment included.
