Does anyone know if there are any fires in Douglas County?

I don't know. Certainly Greg over on RogueWeather must know. But I for one am waiting for the end of the fire season. I'm tired of my eyes burning everyday.

I was just worried about Ponderthis. I haven't been able to get a hold of him in weeks. And usually he responds right away.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but rumor on this forum has it that he passed away. Sorry for your loss. Sad

Well, Cafe o Lait, if the rumours are true, you don't have to worry for him anymore. I'm sorry.

I was hoping someone could find it in the obituaries or a news article about it. I know he went wild on the tractor but I wish I could know what exactly happened. And also what is gonna happen with his beloved dog Oscar?

I watched the Obits, but I didn't know his real full name and never saw an obit that really fit for what I did know about him.

His name is Donald [REDACTED] and he is in his early 60's. About 5'8", pot belly, shoulder length blonde hair. If you find anything, anyone, let me know. I don't know who is taking care of his property or his dog Oscar. If I knew a reason to I could drive there. In other wards if everything is abandoned I will go there and oversee whatever I can do.

There are a couple of people on the thread you were given links to that seemed to know him very well .You could PM and probably find out what you are asking.
BTW I think he was 62

I'm pretty sure he was never in the obituaries and I don't think there are any news articles about him. And that's probably the way he wanted itSmiling

I know that Don did not want to have anything to do with his son. We never went to see him and he never come to see us. But now that Dons no longer living, I assume everything defaults to the son since Don had no will. My only concern is for Oscar. He needs a good home with a lot of acreage to wander around. He does not like to be put on a leash and therefore has no Don to follow walking. Someone needs to bond with Oscar so he doesn't fade away.

Death has a way of erasing some the past. You could try to visit his son or Don's friend and house renter Chad. I don't have any information that I can share. Sorry for your loss.

Cafe you have PM's and links and seem to know more than some about Don, and who might be able to answer your questions.

Thank you Everyone. I'm sad now because I know he had big dreams. I always thought he was too old to do the things he wanted to do. So, I feel kind of bad.
