Maybe. I almost bought a 2002 for $5,000 with about 120,000 miles. I asked my mechanic if I could afford the maintenance and upkeep on it or should I stick with my second choice the Honda Civic. I bought the Civic. The Benz was three times nicer to drive though. Maybe someday.....

You are probability right it's not a scam. That car blue books for a little under $4000.
I have noticed that a lot of Mercedes are sold cheaply that look like nice cars. I think it's the cost of repair factor.
Cadillac's have always been the same way.
