One thing for sure. On your best day, in your healthiest year, you wouldn't be man enough to do it. Talk about it? Sure, that's our game.

I believe I was addressing HMMG, but feel free to be faux offended anyway.

You taking extra meds? Yeah, you were aiming at HMMG but sure looked like it was directed my way. But since you have never learned to use the "reply" feature it's always a guess who you are posting to.

You are grouchy. Been a couple of hours since you had a cheeseburger and fries?

I was simply stating that duct tape is the greatest American invention. It can be used for a million different things. Maybe I should have used the words "hands down" instead of "'nuff said"...would that have been more acceptable to you? I was staying on topic, something you have stressed is of paramount importance in your eyes. Smiling

Wonky dear, it seems to me that maybe you are the one who has become the grouchy one. Do you need a Colace or some Miralax? (Note:  This comment is meant to be comedic like your cheeseburger and fries question of me. Wink )

Holy shit!
O damn, I said shit.
Oh shit I said damn. Ah, fuck it, I didn't want to to a priest anyway.

Boy! Did I misread your post or what? Of course duct tape is the greatest invention since sliced bread or shirt pockets! Should have been obvious.

I made the mistake of looking for continuity of context, thinking you were suggesting to tape my mouth shut because of the ongoing rabble rousing back-and-forth happening here. After all my bitching about folks not following Tia's lead in adding appropriate stuff to the Topic and I flat missed the good point of your post. Duct tape might be the top of the list. Hell, it holds TVg's world together.

I'm truly sorry, and I hope you will forgive my snarky comment. I was pissed, on edge, and feeling hostile. No excuse, but that's what was going on.

Funny you should mention Colace and Miralax. I've been using the stuff for two years to little effect and the good forks here in the Rogue Valley are at loss to explain why things between my esophagus and rectum are not working right. (Sorry...too much info). I have a appointment  at the Health and Science University in Portland in mid August for a "workup", whatever that means. Getting old is a bitch, but I promise I won't bitch about it again here.

Again, please forgive my comments in the previous post. Wish you, and yours, the very best.

Just my own opinion. And when I posted the comment it was only that. Because this is a Forum, I thought it was okay to do that.

It is OK. And it's also OK for people to call you a control freak. Hall monitor or a nanny. Some of us say whatever we want here MORE so than in casual conversation with people we don't know.
IMO that's what makes a fucking discussion forum work.. It's call anonymity. Who wants to argue religion in person, politics or  environment with strangers??

It's clear you didn't like Chuck's little poem you made THREE posts saying so an thread about RANDOM THOUGHTS Laughing Laughing .. because it's inappropriate?? Or it strayed from the subject??? When it didn't. Go ahead complain about what people post some more Rolling Eyes

JESUS MARY AND JOESPH, TVg!

It was my opinion. Just that. I didn't suggest anyone should "get fucked", (as you have done) leave the forum, shove it up their ass, or run the Civil War Battle flag up the pole.

Enough of this. I made ONE comment, replied to the others attempting to explain, and never lost a bit of sleep. Sounds like you did.

Do as you will, let others do the same, and we each have the privilege of making a comment to any post. I'll reserve that privilege no matter how much you rant and rave.

That's hilarious. YOU are the one ... maybe not ranting and raving but just incessantly whining about who says what or when.
Who elected you to always tell us when the topic is steered away from or when something isn't appropriate?

OF COURSE you have the privilege of saying what ever you want. And I have the privilege like so many others have done before to tell  that you don't run the place.
How many nanny images or hall monitor pictures have been posted in your honor???

Sheesh I would think that ought to tell you it's NOT JUST ME.

Wonky... I'll make every effort to see that my replies to what others post is not trying to direct the conversation.

I hope so but I'll believe it when I see it.

But watch you ass, argument boy, because I'll sure as hell come down on you when you oppose every other view that is expressed here. You are mostly reactionary, and pull opinions out of your butt rather than depend on good sources. But, because you read so little, your butt is your best after all I guess.

Opposing others views has absolutely nothing to do with "trying to direct the conversation."

Wonky.....You are mostly reactionary, and pull opinions out of your butt rather than depend on good sources. But, because you read so little, your butt is your best after all I guess.

This isn't about how smart I am or how I form opinions. But I would bet you real cash money that  I would kick your ass On Jeopardy or any trivial pursuit type of games.
Reading is not the only way to learn. Anyone can parrot what they read and then post on a forum.

I liked Tia's suggestion of "A different random thought" and I was guessing folks here would be posting just that: Random thoughts, like Tia's: interesting. So much for that good idea, the train again jumped the tracks and it turned into a pissing match. Sad.

It was your complaining that turned things. There wasn't anything sad or wrong for anyone EXCEPT YOU.

NO ONE but you cared and whined about the posts that were not all "random thoughts"

It's said that the definition of insanity is doing something over and over but expecting a different result.

So, Okay. I'm not totally stupid or ridged, and I'm capable of monitoring my behavior here. I'll make every effort to see that my replies to what others post is not trying to direct the conversation. I will continue to post critical opinions when I feel the need, but not suggest that the post was unnecessary of off subject.

We shouldn't need these kind of exchanges, but there I go again..."The hall monitor" trying to run the place.  Razz

For the record: It wasn't a suggestion. I just wanted a new thread to post my thought in, knowing it would be lost in the other thread.  I really don't care which way it goes though.

So, are you presenting this as a new random thought?  and you want responses to that thought?   Well, I'd say it was one of a long series of steps, highly resisted, to allow women to reach their full potential as sentient beings rather than just biological ones.  I always marvel at the opposition to all things giving full potential to women. Even on this forum. Times like those, are when I really give Freud a lot of credit.
