That reminds me of people who complain about the news.Every woman I know wants pockets. We all want a pocket that our phone will fit in and not fall out. So, to answer your question, I think manufacturers sell what fashion dictates. If I was a designer I would create a line of clothing for women of ALL SIZES AND SHAPES , that looked good and had deep, functional pockets.
It's not just news anymore. But they are giving people what they want.
These businesses have bean counters who study these things in greater detail than we can imagine.
I think manufacturers sell what fashion dictates
No doubt and most women buy what fashion dictates.
I think manufactures sell what makes them money. That doesn't always correlate to what many people want. So we're left with the question do I buy what's available or do I do without. And I'm pretty sure their bean counters are very aware of this.
I think it does correlate to what people want. These manufacturers have to compete with each other. If any of them knew of a market that was not being fulfilled they would jump on it.
Juniper could be right. Maybe the entire multi billion dollar industry is blind to what people really want. Or maybe she's overestimating how many people are like minded.s
