Quote:A woman allegedly broke into a Medford home, pulled on the owner's pants and shoes and proceeded to decorate a discarded Christmas tree she'd hauled inside from the curb.
Quote:Medford police reported the incident happened Monday at a home in the first block of Kenwood Drive. The man who lived there had gone to work at 2 p.m. and returned at 9:17 p.m. He opened the door to find a woman standing inside. Police reported the woman, 55-year-old Teresa Moore, was wearing the man's pants and shoes. Officers added she also had hauled the man's discarded Christmas tree inside from the curb and had it half decorated.
Quote:"He did not know her, did not give her permission to be there," Medford police Lt. Mike Budreau said.
Quote:The man quietly ducked out to called police, and officers arrested Moore and took her to the Jackson County Jail on charges of first-degree burglary and third-degree theft. She was later released, but was rearrested Tuesday on a charge of unlawful entering a vehicle, after she reportedly broke into a car parked at People's Bank of Commerce, 750 Biddle Road. No property was taken, Budreau said.
Quote:Moore remained in jail on $10,000 bail Tuesday afternoon.
