For instance: President Trump said he won the electoral vote by a larger margin than anyone else in (recent) history. When it was pointed out to him that it was not true, his response was that "well, that's what someone told me". Dear God. We hope that kind of ignorance and arrogance is not something seen even in our local councilman. He MJST know his electoral vote count. Simply put: He lied. I honestly think he can't keep from lying. Why? He MUST be the most popular, the wealthiest, the most admired, the most everything. 

This man is deeply flawed. Watch and listen.

But...

Mr. Trump is the president of the United States of America. My president. I respect that office, and when Mr. Obama was our president it pissed me off to no end when the nut jobs on this site would show blatant disrespect for the office by slandering his name, and by association the office.

You may think of Mr. Trump as a turd. I'm sure millions might agree. But, to post that on a public forum is, in my opinion, simply wrong. 

This president, I think, will need little if any help in making clear who and what he is. He is off to a good start. His only hope of staying in the oval office is that his close advisors muffle him and dictate policy from the outer offices in the White House. 

So, I do agree with your assessment of this presidents dismal and comic performance so far. I will continue to feel the OFFICE is due respect, and the man who fills that office can be criticized for all the missteps he makes. But calling him vulgar names seems wrong.
