You sir are a delusional turd.

You do have a point.
There are nut-jobs on both (all) sides of our political spectrum. And there-in lies the problem.
Even here at the RVF we see the constant polarization of issues voiced from the most extreme points of view.
At some point, if we don't learn to interact with one another here in more moderate and thoughtful tones, this place will die. Already our numbers have dwindled down to "a precious few".

I'll try if you will. Reasonable people should be able to find some common ground to start dialog that will allow us to exchange thoughts and ideas about all the things that effect our lives.

Or, we can continue as usual and turn this space into a useless place for ranting from both sides, never reaching any meaningful conversation.

We do have choices.

Wonky.....At some point, if we don't learn to interact with one another here in more moderate and thoughtful tones, this place will die. Already our numbers have dwindled down to "a precious few".

OMG Wonky you STILL think YOU are going to change how we  "interact with one another" ????

And that this place is dying because of how we interact with one another? This place already died. At this point it's a zombie.

HELLLLLOOOOOOO Wonky!!! you are talking to a total Far right zealot nutcase.

Another brain turned to mush by Union Entitlement Disease. Laughing
This is just another example of your brain. How easily it can generalize and stereotype.

You have to be a fool to find reasons to be against any and all unions. Entitlement? Oh I see. You mean unions guarantee that workers get what they are entitled to get.
Absolutely. Safe working conditions, silly things like that.

I use the term "Union" as a button pusher. (Hey look... it works) Laughing   But old time Union folks have been brainwashed into being lifelong Socialists and will never have the brains to figure out how badly it works for them and society, in the end.

Because I respond to an ignorant comment you gleefully claim.. (Hey look... it works)?

I need you to explain to me how my union works badly for me or society. Oh wait.. I've asked this before and you had NOTHING.
Not only was the UNION  I worked for extremely successful. So is the other largest Union electrical contractor.. Pacific Electric.
Both of them pay their employees better than almost every non union company and STILL charge the customers virtually the same rates.

how badly it (A union) works for them and society, in the end.

Well for me it is "the end" and thankfully my TWO union pensions have been turned over to Edward Jones and right now are doing VERY well in the stock market. We don't even need to touch that money.
Four dollars an hour went to my pension for many years thanks to my union. I won't give you a number but the fact is that I could buy damn near anything I want.

So in "the end" in MY union.... everybody wins.

I can think of several people here who agree with him wholeheartedly.  A couple might even admit it publicaly.
