I actually am not feeling quite as bad. Around 3, though I started feeling short of breath. Some of  my co workers were also; right around the same time. I have an inhaler and I am using it quite a bit.

Yes, I bought a new one last summer. Just a window model but much better than what I had before.

Oh, work....yeah, at work, it's pretty crappy air conditioning.  Window models older and less efficient than my home one.

Bummer. We have been running our AC non stop. Even at night when it's really cool outside. My wife has breathing issues.

You need a ionizer, that removes particles. AC just cools the air.

On the bright side, instead of lighting a match after taking a dump. I just open the window for a few seconds.

Yes the AC just cools the air but if you have it set properly it cools the air that is already in your house and doesn't pull smokey air in from outside.
Just like the AC in your car. If you don't have it set to "recirculate" is sucks when you are driving by the sewer plant or stuck in traffic with diesels.

And you don't "NEED" an Ionizer you can just get an air purifier with a HEPA filter.
The Ionizer might be better, not sure.

I do believe after thinking about this I will go buy me an air purifier for my wife's sake. Smiling

I remember 3 years ago when it was worse than this, they sold out of them. I guess there's Amazon. This has been a rough last couple of months for me though. I'm financially running on fumes. Not smoke fumes...

Hepa filters are nice, but you have to replace the filters once in a while,
