Hand's down one of the best concerts I have ever had the pleasure of attending was Tom Petty and the HeartBreakers in 1995.

He was one of my favorites also. I went to his first two concerts supporting his first two albums in '76 and '78.  RIP Crying

Evidently he is still "clinging to life". Leave it to the msm to not even get someone's death right. Pathetic.

Sure, i could buy that in pre internet days, now they all just run shit without verifying sources or accuracy. If there is no official statement from petty camp then someone fucked up and they all ran with it.

I have no idea but it sounds to me like when they said he was taken off of life support someone assumed he was dead.

Didn't Mary Twain once say... "reports of my death are greatly exaggerated"

That movie got really bad reviews but I liked it. I also liked water world and it's not supposed to be any good.

I thought both bad reviews were well earned.  Laughing. But, that's just me and maybe I was expecting too much, 'cause Im a Costner fan (mostly). Really enjoyed "Open Range"...he directed it too.
