The title says it all for me as well. It never occurred to me that he was still alive.

You didn't know he could sing? As far as not knowing people are still alive. I like to look at the cast and crew info they have on Direct TV when I watch old movies.
And very often I'm surprised by who isn't dead.

I forgot that he could sing, but when you mentioned it, I recalled that he was a surprisingly good singer.

And then there are the singers who can act. Doesn't seem fair! My only talent is peeing without getting the floor wet. (Took years of training).

I remember being surprised many times that an actor or actress could sing or dance very well.
But I hadn't occurred to me (duh) that the more talent they have the more likely they would ever become an actress or an actor.
Christopher Walken is an excellent dancer.

Christopher Walken is a amazing dancer....
looking at the tape of his singing it almost looks as if he was classically trained but I can't find any citation that is so...
Also that he contracted Hepatitis B and suffered liver failure but Carol Burnett helped him him procure a new liver transplant.

Walken initially trained as a dancer in music theatre at the Washington Dance Studio before moving on to dramatic roles in theatre and then film.
I remember seeing him on a talk show. He said he was surrounded by dancers and actors as a child.

Coming from a dancing background myself, that doesn't surprise me.

She wasn't too bad when she was young either.
