Who watches? AMERICA'S GOT TALENT  Ever wonder why the most talent people all just suffered the loss of a loved one? Or they are deaf. Or they got beat up at school their whole life because they were gay. Or had Terets syndrone.. or whatever?

I'm a lousy singer but I bet if I was 10. And I had no arms and legs. I could roll on to the stage singing Yankee Doodle Dandy and win the whole show.

Anyway My wife just said I'm a mean SOB Razz .. well OK then.

Anyway I like the show regardless. Last night the tranny made me laugh. The 13 year old was indeed a little Janis Joplin Mel B is gorgeous and Tyra banks looks like a vampire tranny or a zombie, scary... what's up with that?
The black woman who sang to Simon was a wonderful singer. I don't remember who else was good.

I don't watch. I have seen this incredible performance though, because it was linked on a page I was on. I will watch recommended clips, but watching the shows bore me. And annoy me. Maybe it's the formats and all the commercials, I don't know.

In fact, it was you TV who showed a clip of Susan Boyle's performance and I loved it. I'm counting on you, you know. Big Grin

I will sometimes watch if there isn't anything else on that interests me. But I only will watch the initial try outs. Some are really bad but there are the enjoyable surprises that make it worth it. After that I have no interest anymore.

I's sure it is the format and commercials. If I had to sit through that plus the bad acts I would not watch either.
I record everything I watch on TV.

We watch it, the kids enjoy it.

The Joplin girl was good, so was the bearded guy, formerly from Glee who sang and played guitar.
The kids were baffled by the quick change act.

and um, yes, Mel B filled out her outfit nicely.... Cool Embarrassed

We went and saw Howie Mandel at 7 feathers last year, his act was decent but holy shit I've never been more embarrassed on behalf of the people of Southern Oregon then at that show, you'd think no one has ever seen a famous person before. My wife and I were dumbfounded and felt very bad for Howie having to deal with the moronic idiots that thought it OK to freely waltz up to the stage to have a chat with him, fist bump, etc. He handled it well but what the idiots took as him going along with it were to dumb to realize his growing frustration with the interruptions and his pointed jokes to improv his way through it not being funny haha part of his act, but funny, wtf, why are you hicks constantly interrupting my set? I don't know who I was more angry at, the starstruck morons or the stupid casino security that did nothing about it. Mad

Hmm, that's interesting.

Especially since he's famously germaphobic so probably doesn't want close contact with people.

Hence the fist bumps Wink   I was thinking when I read GP's post that the people at 7 feathers didn't necessarily represent southern Oregon people.
I was thinking that the place is mecca for "hicks" but How could I say that to GP?? Laughing Laughing Razz Razz Confused

Yes, we were CLEARLY out of our element! Big Grin

Edit: I guess I should of specified, we are not a regular 7 feathers customer, we went there for the purpose of attending Howie's show. Did not even put $1 in a slot machine. Although after the show we did have 1 drink each at a bar inside the casino because they had some live music, so we listened to that over one drink while we discussed how disgusted we were by what we had just witnessed and joked about what Howie would go back and tell the rest of the judges about his comedy show in Southern Oregon.
