I guess in death folks like to turn a blind eye to what massive murderous warmonger he was.

But hey, he was married for 70 years and made broccoli jokes, so must of been a real swell guy.

Can you explain why you think he is a massive murderous warmonger?

Razz
But repeating yourself is not explaining anything. He was the POTUS when we went after Saddam Hussein and he was backed by congress.

Any war has unintended casualties. 400 people hardly makes Bush a war monger. Especially when Iraq was ruled by a murderous madman who gassed his own people.

And like I said he was backed by our own congress so I guess they were all war mongers also?

Nixon was a war Monger. Johnson was a war monger. I just can't see it with Bush senior.

In a hit and run quick post sometimes one chooses harsh words to make a quick impact. Not so much about defining what makes someone a warmonger as it was to convey I have strong feelings the guy was far from the hero he is being made out to be. I don't think just because someone dies we turn a blind eye to facts that would indicate he is not the jolly old fellow and a bright beacon of light he is being memorialized as in the media. He and the entire Bush clan are far from perfect, as much as they like to pretend other wise with their golly gee whiz I'm from Texas personas. They make me want to puke.

I ran across this article when I was searching for the name of the air raid shelter, obviously I did not have that name freshly in my mind. I don't know anything about the site or the author, but I can't find much fault with the article, and at least it conveys some of the thoughts I have about the SOB, so I'll post a link.

Agreed. I still think GW purposely allowed Americans to think invading Iraq had something to do with Saddam.
Half of all Americans believed it for a reason.
And the "mission accomplished" Bullshit and GW putting on a flight suit Rolling Eyes
