Winco to the rescue

I'm with you on this. I'm always impressed by the ingenuity some people will bring to any challenge. And I give attaboys to chuck for his determination. But this is just too trivial to motivate me. I just store my shopping bags in my vehicle so there there when needed. Though I still got caught without once or twice. Then I just did like you said or pay the nickle.

I don't understand the "use your own bag" bounty. It doesn't really make sense anymore.

What "bounty"?

The practice of paying a customer for using their own bags instead of store provided bags. Now that stores aren't allowed to provide bags for free I don't understand the logic of this practice.

 Stores are not allowed to provide free SINGLE USE bags. So people now bring their own RE USEABLE bags and there are no longer ten bazillions bags being made and then thrown away.
If Winco wants to of pay a customer for using their own bags instead of store provided bags it still accomplishes the same goal.

Duh. I know that. And I don't care if a store wants to pay you to do something you have to do anyway. I just don't understand why they would. The incentive is redundant.

Well you did ask so how would I know Duh, that you knew that?

 The incentive is to give some shoppers what they want. A reason to go to Winco. and I can guarantee you a LOT of people really like this based on a ton of comments on Facebook.
Yes people really are that cheap.
