We went back to Medford for a few days last month

To visit family.  It's been a few years since (3 years actually), and I don't know if I'm more amazed at how fast the city has changed or just how out of touch I've gotten.  We stayed at the Rogue Regency to never do that again, Man oh Man, has that place ever gotten worse.   I remember when it was built and was the PREMIER place at the time!

I admit that I was surprised to see Withams took down their restaurant, but not really.  The last time I ate there was in 2012 or so and was violently ill that night from food poisoning!   It's good to see that they put the extra truck bays in.

We had a nice time visiting my mother and got to see my grandchildren and even stocked up on some the most awesome spices from the reopened Butte Creek Mill.   We still live in the Portland area and are desperately trying to get out of here as soon as we practically can!  We definitely miss the area and all it has to offer.  Not that Portland doesn't, it's just not home to us and never will be even after 8 years.  Fortunately, I have a remote job with the same company I've been with and most likely have the flexibility to take it with me to wherever we relocate, be it Grants Pass, or Medford, or maybe even White City/Eagle Point.

If I had a remote option, I would say Out of State would be the best bet.
