I got 4 large tomato plants, 3 large peppers,(the 5 inch pots, with 12 inch plants) and a couple of cell packs of squash and cucumber and a pellagornium for only 15.00 dollars.
How much were the tomatoes? and what's a large plant? one gallon?
IMO They would have to have a sale to get close to what most other places charge. Have you ever been to Betties? It's on Hamirck road in CP
Less than 3 dollars for the 5 inch pot. Maybe it was a 6 inch pot. The plants were about a foot tall. A lot of times, I just end up buying produce plants at Bi mart or Walmart out of convnencience, so I base my price on that. The last time I went and bought locally off of someone's local land, I don't think I got too great a deal, nor better plants. I haven't been to Betties though. Crater is having a sale tomorrow also.
I went to Crater and was floored by the high prices, I know I know it's for a good cause.
You didn't answer about Betties on Hamrick. It's a nice little Mom and pop business that's been there for years. They have very good prices.
